JOE BIDEN DENOUNCES KILLINGS OF FOUR MUSLIMS IN US CITY -08-08-2022




 WASHINGTON: President Joe Biden on Sunday hated the killings of four Muslim men in New Mexico, which police say might be connected.


"I'm enraged and disheartened by the horrendous killings of four Muslim men in Albuquerque," the US president said on Twitter.


"While we anticipate a full examination, my requests are with the casualties' families, and my Administration stands emphatically with the Muslim people group. These contemptuous assaults have no bearing in America."


Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico's biggest city, said Saturday they are exploring the killings of three Muslim men that they currently suspect are connected with a fourth crime from a year ago.


The Albuquerque police office said in a proclamation they had found the most recent casualty short-term Friday.


His body was found close to a Lutheran Family Services office that gives help to evacuees, TV station KOB4 detailed.


Police didn't distinguish the man yet said he was in his mid-20s, Muslim and "a local from South Asia."


"Specialists accept Friday's homicide might be associated with three late killings of Muslim men likewise from South Asia," the assertion said.


Two of the past casualties were Muslim Pakistani men, a 27-year-old whose body was found on August 1 and a 41-year-old who was tracked down on July 26.


Investigators are presently examining whether these homicides are associated with the demise of a Muslim man from Afghanistan who was killed on November 7, 2021, beyond the business he ran with his sibling in Albuquerque, the assertion said.


The police encouraged anybody with data to call a tip line and said the FBI was helping with the examination.


She said she was sending extra state cops to Albuquerque to assist with the examination.


"We will keep on giving our very best for help to the Muslim people group of Albuquerque and more prominent New Mexico," she said.


The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the biggest US Muslim social liberties bunch, has offered a $10,000 prize to whoever gives data prompting the executioner or executioners' capture.


Pressures have risen strongly in the city's Muslim people group.


"Presently, individuals are starting to overreact," Tahir Gauba, the head of public undertakings with the Islamic Center of New Mexico, told the Albuquerque Journal.
