باریکیوں کے مطابق لاہور ڈسٹرکٹ کورٹ کی جانب سے دی گئی کمپوزڈ درخواست میں عدالت نے اظہار خیال کیا کہ دعا زہرا کے دعوے کی روشنی میں اسے دارالامان بھیجنے کی استدعا کی گئی۔ دعا زہرہ نے عدالت سے کہا کہ اسے اپنے لوگوں اور دیگر لوگوں کے پاس بھیج دیا جائے۔ زندگی سنگین خطرے میں ہے اور وہ اہم نتائج کے ساتھ کمزور ہیں۔ اپنی رپورٹ میں، اس نے کہا کہ اس کے اہم دوسرے کے ساتھ اس کے تعلقات اچھے نہیں تھے اور غیر معمولی پریشانی کے ساتھ وہ رات ایک رشتہ دار کے گھر گزری۔ دعا زہرہ نے درخواست میں موقف اپنایا کہ انہیں اپنی مرضی سے دارالامان لاہور جانا ہے، لہٰذا عدالت اسے دارالامان سے بھیجنے کا انتظام کرے۔
Then again, Prime Minister's Strategic Reforms Unit (SRU) program head Salman Sufi said in a tweet that Dua Zahra is being held under severe security considering the court request.
