IN 24 HOURS, ISLAMABAD REPORTS 53 MORE DENGUE CASES




 ISLAMABAD: According to ARY News, 373 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported in Islamabad during the past 24 hours, an increase of up to 53 cases.


In the previous 24 hours, the federal capital has seen nearly 53 cases of dengue infection, according to data released by the District Health Office (DHO). 37 of the 53 instances were reported in rural areas, while 16 were reported in urban areas.


Nearly 15 people were admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences throughout the course of the previous 24 hours (PIMS).


373 dengue cases have been registered so far this season, according to the figures. According to the DHO, 133 cases from urban areas and 240 infections from rural regions have been reported thus far. In the meanwhile, the infection has claimed one life in the federal capital.


It is important to note that on September 4, Islamabad recorded 22 dengue cases over the previous day. In the city, incidents of illness spread by mosquitoes have increased during monsoon season.


22 dengue cases were reported in the federal capital, of which 17 were in rural and 5 in urban regions, according to the figures provided by DHO.
