In Pakistan, the upward journey for gold continues.




 KARACHI: According to ARY News, on Tuesday, the price of valuable yellow gold in Pakistan continued to rise, with a tola price increase of Rs3,050.


The price of gold per tola increased by Rs3,050 to trade at Rs151,150, according to the All-Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association.


The cost of 10 grammes increased by Rs615 to Rs129,587.


Rupees continue to Depreciate

For the third session in a row, the Pakistani rupee lost value versus the US dollar in the interbank market, sliding by Rs1.56.


The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that the local currency closed at Rs221.42 per dollar, a 0.70 percent depreciation.


It is important to note that, one day after the State Bank of Pakistan got a loan tranche from the International Monetary Fund, the rupee suffered a setback on Friday after losing value versus the US dollar in the interbank market (IMF).
