TWO DACOITS ARE KILLED BY KARACHI POLICE IN A SHOT-OUT




 ARY News reported on Tuesday that two alleged dacoits who had robbed a family of their belongings after they had returned to Pakistan from Turkey were shot and killed by police in Karachi.


The shooting took place close to Nipa Chowrangi in Karachi. After thieves in a car stole $800 and three suitcases from a family travelling back to Karachi from Istanbul, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) West Muqaddas Haider told the media that the police force promptly responded to 15 complaints.


According to police officials, the dacoits were trying to flee the area when a police team caught up with them. Two dacoits were killed in a shootout, while another was captured injured.


According to DIG West, the thieves put a false licence plate on their car. The slain dacoits' criminal histories were also discovered by police. According to the policeman, Jasim, a deceased dacoit who was wanted in seven incidents, was identified.


Additionally, a celebration was held to honour the police officers who conducted a successful encounter on Rashid Minhas Road.


When the dacoits halted his car late on Tuesday night, Ishrat, a citizen, was returned to Karachi from Istanbul, according to Additional Inspector General (AIG) Javed Alam Odho of Karachi. A car was used by the thieves to commit the heist.


According to AIG Odho, the family was robbed by the dacoits of valuable goods and local and foreign currency. The family made a complaint to the police, who handled it professionally.


The slain thieves, according to police officials, were members of the Iranian Organization, a notorious gang made up of Afghans and locals.


The dacoits' stolen property as well as three guns were seized by police.
